[He's not the sort of guy who would normally be caught dead in a place like this. Not intentionally at any rate. He can't really go and co-mingle with people in Gotham City. He's known. From Star City to Metropolis Bruce Wayne is known. This city however isn't on any map in this dimension that he's aware of and after that...fight. He owes this man Coulson a sort of explanation. It's not every day someone comes across the Joker and lives. The clown had arrived with a bang and Harley had come in with him with machine guns and hyenas. How in the hell do you come in with guns and hyenas? Who got that lucky?

So he's bought a couple of hamburgers and a big stack of french fries and by the time a tired looking employee brings it to him he's managed to press the ice pack to the spot above his eye and not make it look like he just walked out of a fight.]

He'd be even more worried if he found out he was donning a borrowed batsuit to fight crime then stashing it in the trunk of the car the "City" had provided him. The guy with the shield had caught him. No big deal. He'd worked with partners before and in a place like this he needed all the friends he could get.

But people had panicked upon seeing him take on the joker and that couldn't happen again. He trusted Rogers here as much as he trusted anyone. Which was...minimal. Still...]
